Nestled on the shores of its very own ten-acre lake in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Ton-A-Wandah is a residential summer camp for girls. In historic Flat Rock, a few miles from Hendersonville, Ton-A-Wandah boasts 365 acres of mountainous terrain including streams, trails, and a cascading waterfall. Here, campers return to enjoy the refreshing summer climate year after year.
Camp Ton-A-Wandah has become a place of childhood memories for young girls everywhere. Since 1933, TAW has been a summer tradition for girls from five to 16 years old. It is a place where friendships are forged, new skills are learned and character is shaped. Plus, it is a place of discovery and challenge in the natural world; a place where girls learn who they are—and who they can be. Ton-A-Wandah, that magic place where the water falls, is the place of summer and growing up and memories that last a lifetime.
Most importantly, TAW creates a community that fosters mentorship, friendship, and sisterhood. This community encourages our campers to be women of character and leaders throughout the world.
