Grier Summer is a one-of-a-kind camp experience. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Grier’s campus boasts state-of-the-art dance, fine art, and equestrian facilities. Girls from all over the world come to our campus to dance, create, and ride. Most importantly, they forge friendships that last a lifetime.

What We Offer

Grier Summer offers three one-week sessions for both day campers (7-17) and boarders (9-17). Campers are welcome to attend up to all three!

Music, Tennis, or Riding. Recreational Campers get to pick from a variety of activities to fill each of their four activity periods in fun activities such as archery, arts and crafts, dance, horseback riding, swimming, and more!

Campers in the Intensive Program spend three of their four activity periods immersed in a single concentration but still get to fill one activity period with an activity of their choosing – A great opportunity to try something new!

Who Are We?

Grier Summer is located on the campus of the historic Grier boarding School. The school’s facilities, amenities, and accommodations are available for camp to use throughout the summer. Campers enjoy comfortable dormitory rooms with suite bathrooms and a family-style dining room. In addition, there is a performing arts building, equestrian facilities, gymnasium, library, and an inspiring art studio. In these wonderful spaces, campers live, create, and play.
